Gravity Wave Terms of Use

 

Gravity Wave offers a personalised subscription service that allows our subscribers to clean plastic from the sea without leaving home.

These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. For the purposes of these Terms of Use, “Gravity Wave service”, “our service” or “the service” refer to the personalised service provided by Gravity Wave to clean kg of plastic from the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the personalised certificates that you will all receive the months in your name.

 

Subscription 

 

1.1. Your subscription to Gravity Wave will continue until its conclusion. To use the Gravity Wave service, you must do so from any device with an internet connection and provide us with one or more payment methods. “Payment method” is an accepted, valid and current form of payment, which you can update when you consider it appropriate by sending us an email. Unless you cancel your subscription prior to the billing date, you authorise us to charge the subscription fee for the next billing cycle to your Payment Method (see “Cancellation” below).

 

1.2. On certain occasions, we will offer you various subscription plans. Some subscription plans may have different conditions and limitations, which will be exposed when you register or in other communications that you can consult. You can find specific details about your Gravity Wave subscription by visiting our website and clicking on the “Certificates” link available at the top of the website www.thegravitywave.com

 

Billing and cancellation 

 

2.1. Billing cycle. 

The subscription fee for the Gravity Wave service will be charged to your Payment Method on the same day of payment and every 30 days from the first payment. In some cases, the billing date may change, such as if your Payment Method has not been configured correctly.

 

2.2. Payment methods. 

To use the Gravity Wave service you must provide one or more Payment Methods. If your main Payment Method is rejected or is no longer available so that we can charge your subscription fee, your subscription will not be completed and therefore you will not receive your personalised certificates. You will remain responsible for any uncollected amount. Local tax charges may vary depending on the payment method used. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details. 

 

2.3. Change your Payment Methods. 

You can modify your Payment Methods by sending us an email to info@thegravitywave.com providing your name, surname and type of subscription. After each modification, you authorise us to continue charging you through the relevant Payment Method.

 

2.4. Cancellation. 

You can cancel your subscription to Gravity Wave at any time by sending an email to info@thegravitywave.com with the subject CANCEL and your name and surname as well as the type of subscription. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or payments for partial monthly subscription periods. 

 

2.5. Changes in prices and subscription plans. 

We can change our subscription plans and their price when we consider it appropriate. However, no changes in price on your subscription plans will take effect before 30 days from our notification.

 

Miscellaneous provisions 

 

3.1. Applicable legislation. 

These Terms of Use will be governed and interpreted in accordance with the legislation of Spain. These terms will not limit any consumer protection to which you may be entitled under current legislation in your country of residence. 

 

3.2. Customer Support.

3.3. Subsistence. 

If any provision or provisions of these Terms of Use are declared invalid, illegal or ineffective, the validity, legality and effectiveness of the remaining provisions will remain in force and with full effect. 

 

3.4. Changes to the Terms of Use. 

Gravity Wave may change these Terms of Use when it deems appropriate. We will notify you at least 30 days before these changes affect you. 

 

3.5. Electronic communications. 

We will send you information about your account (payment authorisations, invoices, changes in the password or in the Payment method, confirmation messages, notices, etc.) only in electronic format; for example: via email to the address provided when registering.
