Under its vision of offering a differential quality service, preserving the natural environment and ensuring sustainable development in its facilities, El Parador El Saler joins our purpose of furnishing the future, installing 63 tables recycled from fishing nets recovered from the Mediterranean Sea that will take on a second life in its rest areas.
Rooms that contain the essence of the Mediterranean
Sustainability and regeneration are the keys to the future to which El Parador «El Saler» is firmly committed.
This Parador has been developing energy efficiency projects, reducing the use of plastics and food waste, protecting and recovering endangered species and volunteering at awareness-raising activities, among other actions, for more than 7 years. In addition, as in the rest of the Paradores, 100% of the electricity comes from renewable energies and 100% of the hotel’s water is reused to irrigate the golf course thanks to its own water treatment plant.
On this path towards greater respect and care for nature, El Parador “El Saler” has collaborated with different organisations such as Xaloc, Global Nature Foundation, SEOBirdlife, Bioagradables and the Oceonogràfic Foundation, and now takes a firm step towards being part in our mission to combat the problem of fishing ghost nets that lie in the depths of the Mediterranean.
Its interior spaces include our GravityWave tables, designed with a Formentera finish that not only reflects its environmental commitment but also conveys a different way of doing things, seeking to highlight the care of nature and the oceans.

Considered one of the best courses in the world, it invites golf lovers to enjoy this sport and relax in its designer rooms, spacious, comfortable and 100% free of non-reusable plastic, as the individual bottles of shampoo, gel, etc. have been eliminated and replaced by large dispensers.
From now on, these rooms have a touch of the sea in them with our tables made from plastic from the sea.
The tables have a functional design that adapts to its cosy rooms and allows guests to immerse themselves in the freshness of the sea and touch the Mediterranean closer to them. In this way, this extraordinary enclave not only reinforces its leadership in environmental commitment in the tourism sector but also demonstrates that it is possible to give a second life to recycled materials by transforming them into tables that are in keeping with its mission and with its interior design and architecture.
